10 Reviews to “Salt Free Water Softener Installation”

  1. First of all, there is no such thing as salt free water softening. Unless the filters remove the calcium and iron and such. I would measure the water after the tanks to see what has been removed. I would recommend us water systems. Great for DIY. They also offer salt free conditioners and RO system.

  2. I’m confused; why did you have to do all of that creative work with the fittings and torch work? Didn’t Springwell send you all of the proper fittings you’d need??

  3. I thought there was no such thing as a Salt Free “softener”. This would be considered a “conditioner” by definition, no?

  4. I’m in S. Jersey on city water, all my bumping faucets are covered with white scale, even the dishes after drying are spotted. should i use softener? or good filtration? .

  5. Hi Jeff, thanks for the video. The link that was supplied for the unit was a US based company. Are there any local Canadian/Ontario retailers that will sell the same/similar unit?

  6. Great video, I love your DIY videos. I have been looking into filtration systems and I found out this is not a Walter softener, it’s a water conditioner, it does not soften the water.
